AUTO FLEXION TREATMENT

The AFT Air Drop Auto Flexion Table was designed to combine lumbar flexion and distraction in one controlled and hands-free movement. Secure your patient with the ankle straps and pull out the sliding ankle piece to preload the lumbar spine. Unlock the standard sliding axial motion headpiece, set your flexion speed or timer and press the start button. If desired, unlock the lateral flexion handle and insert the tiller bar to perform ffortless circumduction.

STANDARD SLIDING AXIAL MOTION HEADPIECE

The Sliding Axial Motion Headpiece is a favorite standard feature for the AFT Air Drop Auto Flexion table. It glides smoothly under your patient's head and moves in perfect unison with the flexion motion for exceptional facial comfort during a lumbar flexion treatment.

AUTOMATIC AIR DROPS AND THORACIC BREAKAWAY

The automatic air drops included on the AFT Air Drop Auto Flexion Table are Cervical, Thoracic, Lumbar, and Pelvic. The Cervical Drop has dual action enabling either straight or forward drop action. Once an air drop has been used, it is instantly reset with the simple touch anywhere along the included power foot strips on both sides of the table.

The Air Thoracic Breakaway section, controlled by a pressure pedal at the foot end of the table, increases or decreases the air-spring pressure in the thoracic / lumbar sections providing a controlled recoil action. It can also be locked in any position down to 5.5” for treating patients who are pregnant or have a larger abdominal region.

OPTIONAL INDEPENDENT LONG AXIS LUBAR DISTRACTION 

The smooth action of the Long Axis Lumbar Distraction option on the AFT Air Drop Auto Flexion Table is manually air-powered using the pressure pedal and adds a greater range of constant lumbar traction, independently or in conjunction with automatic flexion. Remarkable results can be achieved with this option as it acts as spinal traction to the low back to create a negative pressure decompression vacuum and rehydrate the lumbar discs.
