Therapeutic Benefits
The ingredients of Deep Rest are Red Mandarine, Lavender Extra, Sweet Marjoram and Mandarine Petitgrain essential oils.
The calming Red Mandarine and Mandarine Petitgrain in the blend are spasm-easing, mood-enhancing and tension-relieving, as well as giving the blend its sweet citrus scent.
Lavender's famous relaxing effects can help dissolve negative thoughts and worries in an overactive mind. Lavender reduces tension and helps stabilize the emotions, preventing insomnia and enabling you to just let go and fall asleep peacefully.
Sweet Marjoram is the most calming and stress-relieving oil there is in aromatherapy. It helps with muscle pain and mental and physical strain, and although it is relaxing like Ylang Ylang, it has the opposite effect from being an aphrodisiac. It is considered “anaphrodisiac,” meaning it diminishes the sex drive as it eases tension.
When you open the bottle of Deep Rest, you may recognize the familiar scent of Lavender. When diffused it helps even the most longsuffering insomniacs enjoy a peaceful night's sleep. It can also be used in a relaxing bath before bed, diluted in a carrier oil for massage or applied topically to the soles of the feet, pulse points and temples. Because the oils in this synergy are extremely stress-relieving, Deep Rest may also be used during the day as a secret weapon against times of intense stress.
How to Use
Insomnia: Diffusion or Topical Application on heart chest and head area, 3% in any carrier oil, or Aromatic Bath.
Physical tension or excitation: Topical Application to those areas, 3% in any carrier oil.
Stress and nervous tension: Diffusion, Whole Body Massage (2% total in any carrier oil), Topical Application on whole frontal line (5% in any carrier oil) or Aromatic Bath.
Note: The frontal line runs from the heart area upwards and downwards. It extends from the front of the neck to the pubic bone, parallel to the spine.
